1979

The First Slice

Dions opens its doors on Academy Road NE in Albuquerque, NM. The first dions pizza comes out of the oven, and the neighborhood knows immediately — something special has arrived.

1985

Expanding the Menu

Responding to customer love, dion's expands beyond pizza to include fresh-made salads, hand-crafted subs, and scratch-made soups — cementing our place as a full dining destination.

1993

Second Location Opens

The demand for dions pizza grows so strong that we open our second Albuquerque location, bringing the same fresh ingredients and community warmth to more neighborhoods.

2003
